1961 – directed by Bill Karn – with Johnny Cash, Vic Tayback and Ronnie Howard

Celebrate the Man in Black's birthday with this oddball crime thriller about a suburban bank robbery that goes all to heck. Cash plays gun happy troubadour "Johnny Cabot," a cold-blooded killer who serenades his victims on guitar before giving them a mere "five minutes to live." Re-released in the late sixties as "Door-to-Door Maniac," Cash's over-the-top, scene-chewing performance will be a revelation to those that only know him from his musical endeavors. Also featuring Vic Tayback, seven year old Ronnie Howard and "Ring of Fire" co-writer Merle Kilgore as Johnny's henchman/lead guitar-pickin' hand double. A remake starring John Cusack is set for release later this year.

80 minutes

PLUS!--Johnny Cash rarities, clips from Jerry Lee Lewis' failed variety show pilot, 16mm chimp movies from the Spazz Archives and other surprises! Five bucks (cheap!)
